As the owner of Lift Construction, David Carter serves as the company’s general contractor and estimator. He brings over 12 years of experience in restoration and construction, along with running his own business since 2022. He holds an MBA and is passionate about delivering quality work and building strong client relationships. Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports, playing flag football and softball, spending time with his wife, son, and dog, and dreaming of exploring the world one adventure at a time.

Shelbie Carter - Office Manager & Digital Marketing

Born in Utah and raised in a military family, I spent 17 years growing up in Idaho before returning to Utah in 2011, where I met my husband. We have been together for 15 years, and now share life with our child, dog and a love for sports. At Lift Construction I manage office operations and digital marketing, bringing creativity and organization together through my background in graphic design. Outside of work I enjoy camping, hiking, paddleboarding, softball, animals of all kinds, and thrive daily on caffeine and chaos.

I’m Jackie — born and raised in England, driven by passion, and never afraid of a challenge. I work for Lift, where I thrive as part of a team and pour my energy and creativity into marketing and helping the business grow. But the title I cherish most is being a mum and a nan. My kids and grandkids light up my life, and I love showing up for them with everything I’ve got. I’m full of heart, hardworking, and always chasing new experiences that keep life exciting and meaningful.

Connor serves as a Project Manager at Lift Construction and plays an essential role in ensuring every project runs efficiently from beginning to end. Working closely alongside owner David Carter, Connor is known as his trusted right-hand man, bringing attention to detail and a dependable work ethic to the team. His ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and keep projects on track makes him a valuable asset to both clients and crew members alike. Connor was born and raised in Utah, has a deep appreciation for the outdoors, enjoys spending his time golfing, following sports, and proudly supporting his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
